Itaewon

Itaewon in Seoul, South Korea. The guide took us here on our first day, to walk around and explore.

Its nice. The weather was nice and cool and everything was busy. People were rushing and hurrying and all over the place. The place was alive and busy. It was nice. It all reminds me somewhat of edgware road in the UK. huh.

These pics were taken when we got there. The first pic was us getting ourselves aligned...doing the headcount (haha) and making sure everyone know where the meeting point was. See the worried faces..

p.s. This was the only place where we saw plenty of foreign faces. Lots of Angmoh ler. We later found out that Itaewon is the place where foreigners like to hang out. Lots of restaurants (a few halal indian and arabic ones) and bars and shopping. Itaewon is also where the main mosque is located. And, as the guide told us, 90% of the goods you find there are fakes or copies. yeah...
